What happens when the timer ends?
PullBack shows its pull-back screen, then returns you to your home screen. The first two lockout screens offer a 30-second extension. After that, the session ends.
Which apps can I use it with?
Free watches up to four apps from Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and Threads. Pro lets you watch all eight and add other installed apps.
Can I just open the app again?
By default, you can return to the app. Pro adds an optional cooldown called Witness Protection, which sends you home again if you reopen a watched app during its cooldown.
Does PullBack read my screen?
No. PullBack uses Android's accessibility service to detect which app is in front and to return you home. It does not read your messages, posts, passwords, or screen content. Core timing and progress stay on your phone.
Does it work on iPhone?
PullBack is currently available for Android only.
What happens after the Pro trial?
Every new install starts with seven days of Pro. No card is needed for this trial. If you do not buy Pro, the app returns to the Free tier.
